A support agreement of 200,000 euros, signed by the Métropole de Lyon, is intended for the activity of Pimms Médiation, a network of social mediators.
As part of the formalization of a support agreement of 200,000 euros in favor of the association of the Point information mediation multi services (Pimms) of the Metropolis of Lyon, President Bruno Bernard visited the website of the States -Unis, in the 8th arrondissement of Lyon, this Thursday, November 7. As a reminder, the centers of the Pimms Médiation association help promote access to rights for all residents of the Lyon Metropolis, particularly those in priority neighborhoods. This network of mediators, deployed throughout France, is made up of 7 fixed sites and a mobile unit across the Metropolis.

66,000 people supported in 2023
“Today more than ever, it is important to strengthen our connection with residents and support initiatives such as Pimms Médiation, which play an essential role in social cohesion and access to rights.underlines President Bruno Bernard, in a press release. Our commitment demonstrates the desire of the Métropole de Lyon to stand alongside stakeholders on the ground to offer concrete and effective solutions, meeting the needs of all.“.
The formalized agreement is part of the “Quartiers 2030” city contract, in favor of social inclusion. In total, more than 66,000 people were supported in 2023 by Pimms mediation. Among them, 67% found a solution to remedy a difficulty in using digital tools. In addition, the association is implementing actions on mobility, such as the distribution of 1,500 TCL passes, or on other essential aspects of daily life, specifies the press release from the Métropole de Lyon.
