Saint-Gaultier tournament: Cvitanovic and Briant winners

The Saint-Gaultier Club tournament closed on Sunday November 3, 2024 with the presence of around thirty people who came to watch the finals. For the first time in the history of the tournament, two qualifying pools of unclassified players at 30/4 could be organized, allowing players to play up to four matches.

Among the women, Lou Cailleaux Dabadie (30/1, TC Val de Creuse) spent six rounds achieving four performances (at 30, 15/5 and 15/3) to lose in the semi-final against the winner of the tournament. She also won the final 4e series, registering a seventh victory to his record. Finally, she also stood out by sharing with Émie Bely (15/5, Diors) the prize for the most fair play match. “Well done ladies, you have put women’s tennis in the spotlight,” commented President Pinsard.
