A construction site longer than expected. Started on Wednesday May 22, 2024the work undertaken on the dam Vallabrèguesin the east of Gardare not finished. Far from it. The Departmental Council has just confirmed that they will continue until Wednesday December 18 included.
An urgent renovation
Requested by Actu.fr, the community confirms that it is a “ long construction site which will not be completed within the timeframe initially planned.
The technicians are currently carrying out the complete renovation of the main valve located on this dam. The work was to be completed by the end of the month of November. They are therefore extended by one month.
A diversion put in place
Departmental road 2B which passes over the dam will be closed to traffic every day between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.. Cars will be allowed to drive there every weekend.
The diversion put in place in recent months, towards the municipalities of Beaucaire (Gard) andTarascon ( Bouches-du-Rhône)is maintained.
