Roland Delzers, president of the CMA of Tarn-et-Garonne, met the NectArt artisans in Montech to discuss their needs and support their varied activities.
Roland Delzers, president of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CMA) of Tarn-et-Garonne, was present this Tuesday at the premises of the NectArt collective in Montech to meet, in the presence of the mayor, Jacques Moignard, and his assistant Guy Daimer, the craftsmen forming this collective.
The objective of this visit was to listen to artisans to better defend them and support them in their activities (creation, development, training, transmission, recovery), knowing that the aim of the CMA is to represent, promote , defend the general interests of crafts and promote the development of businesses in the sector.
13 artisans in this collective
Lucie, one of the leaders of the NectArt association, surrounded by Valérie, Nadine, Léa, Eve, Julie, presented the structure to municipal officials and the chamber of commerce and crafts. She specified that thirteen craftsmen were members of the association created three years ago so that these craftsmen would be more visible, knowing that they are all people of quality. Some of these artisans benefited from this structure as their first premises and then moved to other locations, while remaining members.
After being introduced to the art artisans of the NectArt collective, President Delzers visited the workshop of Valérie Gasté, upholsterer, and the workshop of Nadine Revelant, restorer of gilded wood. He was able to discover the superb work of these artisans.
Valérie Gasté, an art craftsman with a degree in upholstery, will restore for you a seat, an armchair from your parents or grandparents or simply a sofa that your dog took for a toy. In its very bright workshop, you can choose for yourself the fabric that will cover your seat. Some 500 references at all prices, for all budgets, are at your disposal. Valérie still gives lessons and some of her students have been there since the beginning.
Valérie Gasté obtained the Écodéfis and Répar'acteur labels from the Chamber of Trades and Crafts.
Nadine Revelant-Planche carries out conservation and restoration work on ancient objects of art in gilded wood, wooden statues, plaster, terracotta, furniture, armchairs and polychromes.
Gilding courses
Nadine Revelant-Planche is a CFA graduate from La Bonne Graine in Paris. She has been practicing this profession for over thirty years with individuals and institutions. Nadine also provides gilding courses and training courses for individuals who wish to practice their passion. The president of the CMA was then able to interact with the other tenants of the premises and the elected officials of Montenegro in a very warm atmosphere.
