Siaugues-Sainte-Marie: the minibus ends up in a ditch

Six children from Vissac-Auteyrac primary school had a big scare on Tuesday at 8:50 a.m. The children, aged 9 to 11, were on board the school transport minibus which took them to school. The driver, a 61-year-old woman, pulled over the shoulder to allow a truck to pass the minibus on the RD 117, but her Renault Trafic slid into the ditch. The police and around fifteen firefighters went to the scene. The children had already returned to the nearby school. They were all unhurt, except for a 10-year-old boy who received care from a nurse before being taken to hospital for examinations. The tests carried out on the driver were all negative.

Aiguilhe: he loses his license after the alcohol test

A 26-year-old driver lost his driving license during the night from Thursday to Friday, after testing positive for alcohol. This Ponot was driving a Twingo on Avenue de Bonneville in Aiguilhe. Around 1:30 a.m., he crossed paths with the night patrol who decided to check him. His blood alcohol test came back positive with a level of 1.32 grams of alcohol per liter of blood. While awaiting the criminal response, his car was immobilized and his driving license is subject to administrative detention.

Lapte: a man loses consciousness in the woods

An emergency medical team from Samu and around fifteen firefighters, including rescue specialists in dangerous and mountain environments, intervened on Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. in the woods located near the Lapte cemetery, Route des Taillas. They took care of a man suffering from illness. He was with his partner when he suffered convulsions leading to a momentary loss of consciousness. The victim was categorized as an absolute emergency and taken to Émile-Roux hospital as an absolute emergency.

Saint-Privat-d’Allier: head-on collision between two cars

A head-on collision left two people injured on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. on the RD 589. The accident occurred near Chier, a commune in Saint-Privat-d'Allier. A 69-year-old motorist veered into the opposite lane where the car of a 62-year-old man was traveling. The latter was unable to avoid the frontal collision. Around ten firefighters attended the scene. The sixty-year-old was taken care of by a nurse before being transported to Le Puy hospital, just like the second driver involved.

Chaspuzac: plants on fire at the wild dump

The Loudes firefighters were engaged, Tuesday shortly before 6 p.m., for a plant fire on Chemin de Say in Chaspuzac. Around 70 m2 of burning branches were drowned on the site of a wild dump.

Mazeyrat-d'Allier: the deer does not survive the collision

Late Monday afternoon, an 18-year-old motorist was driving on the RD 585 between Mazeyrat-d'Allier and Langeac when a deer crossed the road. The driver was unable to avoid the impact. The animal was killed instantly. The driver was not injured in the accident.
