A woman gives birth in her car in the middle of Paris, helped by BAC police officers

It's rare, but it happens. While she was on her way to the maternity ward, a femme was forced to give birth in your carfar from the comfort of a delivery room, supported by a team from the anti-crime squad. The birth therefore took place in the heart of Paris, in a street a stone's throw from the Saint-Lazare station, revealed news17.

According to the media, the happy event took place on the night of Tuesday 5 to Wednesday 6 November 2024. BAC team patrolled in the 8th arrondissement of Paris when women's cries were heard a little further away, at the corner of rue de Rome and rue de la Pépinière.

Upon arriving, the police discovered a car stopped on a pedestrian crossing, the warnings on. A man then rushes towards them and informs them that his wife is about to give birth.

While waiting for the firefighters to arrive, a policewoman came to the aid of the mother-to-be and the birth of the little boy went off without a hitch. In good health, the newborn and the young woman were taken care of by rescuers and taken to Cochin hospital.
