Terra Aventura courses are a hit

Consideration will be given to the opening hours of the Tourist Office in September and October, when attendance is almost zero. On the other hand, the very good attendance of the Terra Aventura courses in Laparade was highlighted with 1,305 participants per year including 506 in October thanks to the Bastides festival, compared to 63 in 2023, and Saint Pastour with 1,621 per year. including 545 in October, compared to 106 in 2023.

For the first season of opening of the Tourist Office shop, offering regional products, magnets, postcards, posters: it is a great success with 5,762 euros in sales, with a profit of 1 518 euros. Magnets, postcards, posters and posters from the villages in the region are now on sale in the premises of the Community of Communes. Some new products will be offered next year, after validation by the community council, such as key rings, mugs, other magnets, and, depending on the legislation, prunes in armagnac, floc de Gascogne and armagnac which are requested by visitors.

Regarding the greenway equipment master plan, the Community of Municipalities took delivery of the construction site for the collapsed part between Castelmoron and Granges on October 23. In June 2025, the Eiffage company will take over the areas which could not be finalized this fall due to bad weather. The development of the square in Castelmoron in place of the old service station is awaiting subsidies; it is a project worth around 800,000 euros.
