At the end of a series of qualifying events organized on different sites, the regional float tube fishing final will take place on Sunday November 10 in the town of Éguzon. This competition, organized by Génération Pêche Centre-Val de Loire, with the assistance of the AAPPMA Éguzon La Vandèze, is scheduled on Lake Chambon, in an area located opposite the leisure center and the CRJS. It will bring together thirty competitors, with five representatives from the departments of Loiret, Eure-et-Loir, Indre-et-Loire, Loir-et-Cher, Cher, and Indre who will use these inflatable boats. ergonomically shaped, easily transportable, to move on the water, and reach ordinarily inaccessible places.
For the public, it will be an opportunity to appreciate a discipline already highlighted in recent years in the Creuse, notably in Saint-Étienne in the commune of Argenton, and in Montcocu in the commune of Baraize.
“This sporting activity is on the rise and it will be the first time that the department hosts the regional final”underlines Cyril Bernier, president of the Eguzon association, who is expecting a delegation of around fifty people on Saturday evening, including ten commissioners. The group will be hosted on site and the events will take place on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
