Install photovoltaic panels on agricultural land. This is what agrivoltaism (in summary). For ? Against ? You will have the opportunity to attend at trial of this practice on November 15, 2024 in the Tarn.

A unique event organized as part of the Supercharged Daysa festive week around renewable energy. From November 8 to 15, 2024the cooperatives Coop de Só (based in Carmaux), Ecot81 (Énergies citoyennes de l'Ouest du Tarn based in Lisle-sur-Tarn) and Enercoop Midi-Pyrénées (production and sales cooperative) are in fact coming together in the Tarn to what is a first.

Visits to solar parks, but not only that

With the support of ECLR (Énergies Citoyennes Locales et Renouvelables, an association which supports cooperatives in Occitanie), they will raise awareness among the general public of energy issues, at the Sequestration, in Albi and in Puybegon. The idea? “Show the concrete and local impact of collectives on this subject which may seem complex but which, managed as a common good, is accessible to all”.

On the menu, visits to solar parks, an inauguration, discussions, a screening and, therefore, a trial.

• November 8 at 4:30 p.m. – (place called Pousse-Pisse au Séquestre): visit to the solar parkusually closed to the public.
• November 12 at 6 p.m. (1, avenue de la Verrerie, in Albi): discussion around the installation of solar panels on roofs.
• November 14 at 2:30 p.m. (chemin de la Caillagues, Albi): meet at the central Pélissier to discover this former coal production site now converted into a solar park.
• The same day at 8:30 p.m. (Arcé room, rue des Cordeliers, Albi): projection you film Europe, a shared continent: the countdownfollowed by a discussion with representatives of local cooperatives.
• November 15 at 2 p.m. (3, rue de l'Ancienne-Ecole, in Puybegon: Trial of agrivoltaism. Take part in an interactive mini-trial around this practice combining agricultural production and solar energy. “Through a fictional debate between defenders and opponents in which you will take the role, explore the environmental, economic and ethical issues of this developing practice which poses many questions to us.”
• The same day at 4 p.m. (place called Bruguière, in Puybegon): Inauguration of the solar parkdeveloped in partnership with a group of local farmers (GAEC).
