We thought we were used to the madness that inhabits the singer of We or Paris-Seychelles… It was very bad to know him! For his covers album, ImpostorJulien Doré still manages to surprise us by offering covers of cult titles like As long as they are soft by Mylène Farmer or All the women in your life L5 and, we didn't see it coming, the nursery rhyme Ah ! Les crocodiles (in costume in the clip, please)!

“Impostor”
It's the adjective that followed him everywhere for a few years after he left New Starthe talent show that made him known in 2007. Far from wanting to erase his past, Julien Doré even regularly pays homage to it by celebrating the program's anniversary or even by using its visual codes for a good cause in one of its latest clips. By “voting” for him in the clip of As long as they are softit is in fact a donation to the SPA which is made:

Impostorthis is also the name of his new album of covers to be released this November 8. Cult Banana care to the sublime Fly me to the moon passing through Sensuality or even Lyrics, lyrics in duet with American actress Sharon Stonethe Alesian refused nothing and had no taboos. While he will be on tour from March 2025, new unreleased songs are not to be expected: “With the previous tour, I had started to draw an imagination that could become a signaturewhich might become the way I might envision doing shows today. […] People could come see me, just to see a show. That's why I decided, going against what is usually done, to open a tour, to launch my work on a new show like a magician would do. I want to give myself new challenges.” he confided to Emilie Mazoyer during her visit to Décibels to talk about the Panda series. There is no doubt that these new covers will fit perfectly into the singer's on-stage repertoire.
Julien Doré is Emilie Mazoyer's exceptional guest on Décibels this Friday, November 8 from 7 p.m.! He will answer your questions, live, for two hours! It's not to be missed and it's only on France Bleu.
