And spectacular traffic accident involving two cars occurred this Wednesday, November 6 to the tune of Choisy-au-Bac (Oise), on the RD 66.

According to the first elements of the investigation, entrusted to the gendarmerie brigade of Choisy-au-Bacit was around 8 a.m. when the two vehicles driving in reverse brushed against each other in the center of the roadway. One of the two drivers wanted to avoid an obstacle or debris on the road.

A gap to avoid face-to-face

Each driver then gave a turn of the wheel to avoid an accidental face-to-face encounter.

Both cars each finished in the ditches along this road which connects Compiègne to Cambronne-lès-Ribécourt.

The firefighters nevertheless intervened on the spot to take care of one of the two drivers, who was taken to the Compiègne hospital center to undergo injuries. control exams due to back pain.

Traffic disruptionsn were noted around 9 a.m., or an hour after the accident, but these were “essentially caused by the intervention of the firefighters”, confirms a soldier present on site.
