Support for live shows, cultural actions and events in the region

The community supports local artistic projects which contribute to cultural influence in the department.
The Departmental Assembly unanimously approved on October 18, 2024 an overhaul of cultural aid systems.
Four axes now structure departmental action to support cultural projects:

  • Support for creation and emergence

Purpose: To financially support creation in the Marne region in the field of live performance only (theater, dance, puppets, circus, music, and street arts). The Department intervenes in two areas: assistance for creation (financially supporting professional companies from Marne for the creation of their show) and aid for emergence (helping young companies from Marne in the process of becoming professional to structure themselves).
