In a storage location
The fire affected an 8m room2 approximately which served as storage for educational materials on the ground floor of the building. Upstairs, the principal's office was also heavily affected. A hose made it possible to control the fire and avoid any risk of spreading into the adjoining rooms, which are classrooms.
The material damage appears to be quite significant: a photocopier and educational materials were destroyed by the fire. The origin of the fire has not yet been determined.
The room also overlooks the playground inside the school. The classrooms are right next door.

Resumption of activity decided today
Ventilation operations are underway this Wednesday morning in classrooms impacted by smoke and ashes. The gendarmerie, the official on duty, the technical services and the National Education services are on the scene.
