An exceptional wild boar on the hunting list

This exceptional catch perfectly illustrates the problem facing the department of Gers, where the proliferation of wild boars is causing considerable damage to local crops. If the regulation of these animals is ensured daily by local hunting societies, the capture of this extraordinary specimen deserves to be highlighted. This feat is the result of the work of an experienced team, made up of a scout lieutenant responsible for the sector, accompanied by around twenty experienced hunters.

The hunters had certainly spotted unusually imposing tracks, but nothing had prepared them for such an encounter. When the impressive animal finally showed itself, they had to show great composure to handle the situation safely. This exceptional catch will remain engraved in the memories of hunters in the sector, as it is rare to come across a wild boar of this stature in our Gers countryside.
