A climbing accident near Cahors

The firefighters intervened on Saturday November 2, 2024 in Arcambal in the middle of the afternoon to rescue a septuagenarian who had fallen from a height on a climbing site.

In support of the Firefighters from the Fire and Rescue Center (CIS) of Limogne-en-Quercy, members of the specialized GRIMP team took care of the victim, who was slightly injured, and carried him out on a stretcher. 500 meters in a difficult to access site. The victim was then transported by firefighters to Cahors hospital.

A Syded employee falls into a dumpster

The GRIMP firefighters intervened again on Monday November 4 early in the morning on the Syded site in Catus following the fall of approximately 3 meters of one of its agents into a waste bin.

Given the condition of the victim who presented multiple traumas, the GRIMP was again dispatched to the site in order to extract him safely in support of his colleagues from the Catus Fire and Rescue Center.

Hiker's discomfort

Finally, the GRIMP intervened in addition to the Cahors firefighters, Monday November 4 in the middle of the afternoon in Cahors, for a walker who felt unwell on the path leading to Mont Saint-Cyr (Cabessut side).

The victim's state of health required a long-distance stretcher to reach the VSAV for transport to the hospital.
