The Argenton-sur-Creuse brigade community, which includes the gendarmeries of Argenton, Éguzon-Chantôme, and Saint-Benoît-du-Sault, has welcomed several new personnel since the start of the 2024 school year.
Student gendarme Manon Da Costa, who left the non-commissioned officer school barely a month ago, arrives from the Toulouse region. Volunteer deputy gendarmes Naouiroudine Salim and Alexi Cambien, like the latter, provide part of their service to the Saint-Benoît-du-Sault brigade.
Increase in burglaries in October
At their side, there is Gendarme Benoît Fernandez, diplomatic security guard at the French embassy in Chad for a few years, then mobile gendarme for nine years, and Warrant Officer Guillaume Baillarin.
The latter, with his twenty-five year career, arrived from Tarn-et-Garonne last September to return to his region of origin, judging his new professional framework and the city ” very pleasant ».
