Two 14-year-old teenagers, suspected of being involved in a shooting and a refusal to comply, were arrested Tuesday afternoon, a town in Finistère.

Two 14-year-old teenagers were arrested Tuesday afternoon in Taulé, a town in Finistère. According to several police sources at Europe 1, the two suspects, on board a car involved in a refusal to comply which injured a police officer on October 24 in , are suspected of being involved in a shooting that occurred in recent weeks and in a drug trafficking case.

Two other people, also present in the car at the time of the police intervention, managed to escape and are actively being sought.

Two suspects on the run

Upon seeing the police officers who were monitoring the parked car, two of the four people in the car managed to flee. Despite the resources deployed and the help of the PSIG (Gendarmerie surveillance and intervention platoon), they were not found, several police sources told Europe 1. The suspects are also suspected of being involved in a shooting that occurred in previous weeks in the department and in a drug trafficking case.

A significant system was deployed, leading to the temporary confinement of two schools located near the police system put in place. Kept under guard for almost an hour, the children were finally picked up by their parents late in the afternoon. The search system was lifted in the early evening. The two suspects are still on the run and the search continues.
