A restless night. The Haute-Garonne firefighters intervened this Wednesday, November 6, around 2:30 a.m., at 535 chemin de l’Écluse in Renneville, for a fire which broke out in a 100 m² house housing a rowing club.
A 100 m² building “entirely engulfed in flames”
Upon their arrival, “firefighters are confronted with a fire in a building housing a rowing club that was completely engulfed in flames with a risk of spreading to an adjoining home”indicates the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Haute-Garonne (SDIS 31).
Quickly, two water lances were used, “including one on an aerial ladder”specify the emergency services. A ton pump van was also mobilized to carry out “active” monitoring of the disaster.
Note that during this intervention, a firefighter was slightly injured. The mayor of Renneville, Francette Ros-Nonowas present on the scene, as well as the services of gendarmerie.
