The Recyclerie Broc'N'Grole association was created in May 2023 in Ernée by a team of 9 members. The collection of objects began in July and the opening to the public took place the first weekend of September 2023. Our objective is to contribute to sustainable development, to offer residents equipment at lower costs and to create local solidarity employment. The association is the tenant of premises (former car garage) of 1300 m², owned by the Community of Communes of Ernée. We do not benefit from any subsidies

Contributions to the Ernée site
La Recyclerie recovers, repairs and resells second-hand objects (furniture, crockery, books, clothing). Contributions, in the form of donations, are made on the site, at 57, avenue Aristide-Briand but we also carry out home collections, by appointment. The items are resold at a price of 2 to 5 times cheaper than the market price

The association employs two full-time employees: a director and an employee. With the dozen volunteers, the equivalent of 4 FTEs contributes to day-to-day operations. A structure the size of ours should operate with at least 5 employees

What results after one year of operation? : We collected 72 tonnes of objects, including 21 tonnes by home collection. The largest volume is home furnishings. In the absence of our structure, a large part would have ended up in recycling centers.
