You can discover below reliable and permanent figures on the bay of Bourgneuf and Aiguillon including the measurements observed – via multiparametric probes – are quite close – but slightly higher – to those of the Bay of Sables-d’Olonne.

PROBES (last known dates):
– on March 17, 2024, in Bourgneuf Bay, the water temperature was 11.9°
– on May 22, 2024, in Bourgneuf Bay, the water temperature was 16.7°
– on October 4, 2024, in Bourgneuf Bay, the water temperature was 19°.
– on March 14, 2024, in Aiguillon Bay, it was at 11.4°
– on April 6, 2024, in Aiguillon Bay, it was at 12.9°
– on October 4, 2024, in Aiguillon Bay, the water temperature was 16.7°.

Multiparametric probes in the bays of Bourgneuf and Aiguillon
Via two monitoring stations, with buoys equipped with probes for monitoring parameters for controlling shellfish development:
– namely temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity.
The detection of a sudden change in some of these parameters could lead to the triggering of sampling campaigns and research for pollutants in the main coastal outlets.
