While the day before the solid conditions had led to a massacre of broken boards (5 longboards broken in 3 series), the last day of competition smiled on the former member of the Martinican Surf Hope Pole, for his last competition in the hope category.
It was both super intense and very long. The minutes took forever to pass. It was perfect, there were very nice waves, we were among friends. I had never reached the final in the French Championship, it was always my fear to only come 5th. Gégé, my coach, is the one who taught me to surf since I was little, he's my best friend's big brother, it's great to do this with him. Great to finish my last year as a hopeful alongside them, it's magical.
