A real estate program comprising 35 housing units in Évry-Courcouronnes (Essonne) was delivered in May 2023. But the residents who settled there have been living hell ever since. The cause: defects which continue to multiply, explains The Parisian . Residents point to repeated leaks in common areas, apartments and underground parking lots, as well as mold.
The damage is such that several owners decided to attack the developer 3F Accession and the co-ownership association, L'Immobilière. No less than 500 reserve points had also been issued by the co-owners during delivery, delayed by two years. “We've been being pushed around for a year and a half. Everyone is passing the buck and nothing is moving” denounces an owner to our colleagues.
Justice seized
For its part, the 3F group points out that it is the project owner and not the builder. A representative of the group agrees that “the situation is totally abnormal”. According to 3F, it is up to the trustee to act but he delayed in intervening and committed “procedural errors”.
The co-ownership association has launched legal proceedings, with a hearing scheduled for November 15, 2024. An expert must in particular be appointed. The architect and the companies involved were also assigned, at the request of the 3F group.
