the essential
You have an appointment until the evening of November 17, 2024 to vote online to elect the Fédérale 3 player from Haute-Garonne. The winner will be rewarded during a major departmental Rugby evening which will be held on November 28.
Organized in partnership with Committee 31, the “Amateur Rugby Trophies” return for a new edition in the department.
For the Federal player 3, four players were nominated by the jury. Now it's up to you to vote (at the bottom of the page)!
Quentin Bueno (pillar, 35 years old, Coq Léguevinois)
When it came to highlighting a player at Coq Léguevinois, the response from the staff was immediate. “Quentin Bueno”, directly launched his trainer Didier Herrerias, extolling the merits of the converted hooker right pillar. “A man of duty”, immediately justified the coach of the Blue and Red about the thirty-year-old who did not hesitate to extend to help the club return to Federal 2. One more adventure in the great career of the past by Blagnac, Colomiers, Graulhet and the TTFCT. A comeback that is irrefutable proof that this robust and exemplary player has only one word.
Armand Desbrosses (back, 24 years old, RC La Saudrune)
He is the youngest player and the only three-quarter of this selection which seems reserved for forwards in their thirties. At only 24 years old, the La Saudrune scorer invites himself to the table of much more seasoned rivals. The reason? It is his coach Romain Pissinis who gives it: “He is a humble, calm and hard-working boy” compliments the coach. “On the pitch he is a player who devours spaces, loves duels and is a great scorer,” he adds, very proud of the appointment of his protégé. A reward for this “Parisian Titi” trained in Clamart and moved to Stade Français who did much better than adapting to the “Cugnalaise” game.
Thomas Ribaute (pillar, 31 years old, RCSP)
“Some players seem predestined to wear the colors of a club. For Thomas, the Yellow and Blue of the RCSP are obvious. “He embodies the DNA of this team,” confirms his coach Eric Lacrampe. “He plays on the left but can help out in the second line, he’s a guy who weighs on the defenses,” assures the forwards coach. “He is versatile and shines in obscure tasks, a very serious player who also knows how to party,” he describes about the front row whose mentality is the incarnation of the ancestral values of rugby. A time to fight and a time to have fun but always as a team for this leader of the Salvetan locker room.
Laurent Rigal (2nd row, 36 years old, Cazères-Le Fousseret)
Here is the dean of this selection. At 36, Laurent Rigal has some good leftovers, especially since he started again after a long break. “He had problems with one shoulder so we had to revive him and today he is at the top,” confides his coach “Kinou” Séguéla. “He talks afterward, he’s a great sportsman so it helps to chain together all the efforts he makes on the field,” smiles the coach of this competitive and very committed veteran. Two of the values that make him an essential cog in the UCF system. Proof that there is no age to (re) play rugby and above all make a real comeback.
