On Thursday, November 21, state services will participate in Operation DuoDay, a national initiative aimed at promoting the professional integration of people with disabilities. On this occasion, companies, communities and associations welcome a person with a disability, in a duo with a professional volunteer. This immersion allows participants to discover the daily life of a profession, to integrate into a work environment, and to overcome prejudices together.
An enriching immersion for participants and teams
DuoDay is a unique opportunity to promote exchange, understanding, and open-mindedness. People with disabilities actively participate, discovering the realities of a position and the specific missions that result from it. In return, the professionals who support them enrich their perspective on disability at work, thus contributing to better inclusion within their teams.
The Gard department mobilized
In Gard, state services offer around ten internships in various fields, allowing participants to familiarize themselves with various professions and to integrate into actions carried out by public services. This initiative is part of the State's desire to promote inclusion and promote the skills of people with disabilities in the professional environment.

- Intern with the sub-prefect of Vigan

This initiative underlines the commitment of public services in Gard to inclusion and diversity. The DuoDay is much more than a simple immersion day: it is a meeting that promotes acceptance, sharing, and the development of a new perspective on disability in the professional world.
