The Papotin is a newspaper created in 1990 by Driss El Kesri, educator at the Antony day hospital. Today it has 53 journalists with autism spectrum disorders. Every Wednesday morning, these atypical journalists meet for an editorial conference hosted by Julien Bancilhon, editor-in-chief of the publication and psychologist. They discuss the articles and interviews with personalities who will make up the next edition of the newspaper.
It is in 2022 that Kiosco.TV and Quad+TEN, based on an original idea by Éric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, are launching the television format inspired by the newspaper on France 2. Produced by Henri Poulain, this magazine takes up the DNA of the newspaper The Papotinwhose editorial team (40 to 50 people) is made up of non-professional journalists with autism spectrum disorders. Each month, a unique personality is interviewed without filter and without star host. The rules of the game are simple: you can say anything, and anything can happen. I'm a pothead !
