28th edition of the gastronomy fair at Mée-sur-Seine

Around forty producers coming from all over will be present at Mée-sur-Seine during this 28e edition of the gastronomy fair which will take place from Friday November 8 (2 p.m. to 8 p.m.) to Sunday November 10 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) at the MAS, the municipal cultural center. They will have the opportunity to sell their products, show their know-how and highlight French gastronomy.

For their part, cooks, pastry chefs, waiters, butlers and apprentices will provide demonstrations broadcast live on the big screen throughout the weekend.

Lamb Navarin on the menu for the cooking competition

The 27the Jacques Durand Trophythe usual cooking and tableware competition, is scheduled for Saturday, November 9 (from 10 a.m.). It will be open to apprentices from specialized schools supervised by chefs from the National Cuisine Academy (ANC) and teachers from the Antonin Carême high school in Savigny-le-Temple. A pair, made up of a cooking student and a tableware student, will have to make a Lamb Navarin in front of a jury of professionals. The awards ceremony will take place at 6 p.m.

Also like every year, we will note thepresence ofMiss Île-de-France 2024 (Julie Dupont) and that of Miss Seine-et- 2024 (Charlène Izard) during the afternoon of November 10.

Finally, still on November 10 (5:30 p.m.), the show will host the awards ceremony for the 2e edition of competition for the best macaron in Île-de-France co-organized with the Seine-et-Marne Bakery House.
