Swore. Lacroix Emballages is hiring on a work-study basis with a view to retirement

The history of the Lacroix Emballages company began in 1946 in -d'Amont, a village in the Jura mountains which, at the time, was the capital of wooden cheese boxes. Today, it manufactures food packaging in wood, cardboard and plastic for food manufacturers and has established itself in 11 countries.

Among its 31 production sites, 14 are located in , including 7 in Jura, with for example the Ardon and Foncine-le-Haut factories, specialized in plastic injection. The company has 1,600 employees around the world.

Two specialized sites

From poplar plantations to the assembly of wooden boxes, from the design of machines and plastic molds to their maintenance and improvement, from printing to the assembly of its cardboard packaging, all stages of manufacturing are integrated into the within the company. An atypical organization that allows you to come into contact with a multitude of professions and activities.

The Lacroix Emballages site in Ardon specializes in the plastic injection of custom-designed packaging intended to protect and preserve agri-food products (cheese, ice cream, cream, butter, coulis, etc.).

The Demgy company in Frasne (25), an expert in microinjection, is one of the very first European specialists in the processing of technical plastics, high-performance polymers and composites.

Training of 400 to 500 hours

In anticipation of several retirements over the next three years, the Lacroix Emballages site in Ardon, in collaboration with the company Demgy Frasne, is organizing training for a joint metallurgy qualification contract (CQPM) “Industrial fitter adjuster plastic M/F” in partnership with the Region, France Travail, Cap Emploi and an integration structure.

France Travail is setting up this CQPM with the Pontarlier agency, followed by Lucinda Barbier, advisor dedicated to businesses, for Demgy Frasne and the Champagnole agency for Lacroix Emballages.

Prerequisites

Candidate prerequisites: driving license and vehicle required, ability to read and write French, initial experience of 6 months in the industry, desire to learn and engage in training of 400 to 500 hours .

The training (theory & practice) will be provided by Greta & IUMM on a work-study basis in the Demgy and Lacroix Emballages companies. At the end of the CQPM, a professionalization contract will be signed. Three positions are currently to be filled, others could be opened.
