A resident places his garbage in front of the prohibition sign provided for this purpose

Here's one that doesn't lack air. This Thursday around 10 a.m., in Cressensac, in the Lot, an individual saw fit to deposit his rubbish in front of the sign prohibiting the dumping of garbage, according to information from Actu.fr.

Thus, pipes, electrical cables, ducts and an outdoor chair were found, piled up, on the public highway at the foot of a sign indicating: “So that the offenses of a minority do not impact the community, an investigation is underway… Stop illegal dumping. »

This illegal dumping took place at the bottom of the Place du Foirail, very close to the village village hall, in the immediate vicinity of a dozen installed containers. These were set up so that residents could throw away their household waste and recyclable waste.

The sign also meant that “abandoning waste is an offense punishable by a fine of up to 1,500 euros (see articles R 632-1 and 635-8 of the Penal Code)”. As a reminder, other damage to public property, such as tags, is also punishable and represents high costs for communities.
