When words are no longer enough, bodies speak. Come listen to what teenagers have to say through dancing, singing and wrestling.
How can I say the world when words fail me? How can I say what I am if I don't have the floor?
There is so much to say as a teenager, so much to share about yourself and the world, and so much to keep quiet too. Chaotic, musical, continuous, clashing, adolescent speaking is singular, wild and precious. She comes up against others, expectations, adult speeches. Verbal as well as corporeal, pictorial as well as silent, it speaks volumes… but do we hear it?
Surrounded by 4 stands, the stage becomes an agora, a ring. Here 3 young adults still imbued with adolescence, trying to find a form for their silence.
Together, they search, try to overcome the difficulty of naming, of verbalizing. They resist, fumble, remain silent. It is by borrowing other voices-ways: running, dancing, wrestling, singing… that this is said, posed. It is by inventing, by playing in a sustained and joyful rhythm that they shape their own language and tell their stories, tell us.
