Monday November 4, 2024: a initiative originale in Mayenne, in the department of Mayenne. That's the least we can say when we see all his trees dressed in knitwear for winter!

In fact, over approximately 400 m long, and to a height of 1.50 m, numerous pieces of fabric were placed on the trunks. There are 400 pieces in total.

Everything is present on the Place du 9 Juin, as well as on the Place Georges-Clemenceau. Special case: a large tree which sits at the Saint-Georges-de-l'Isle nursing home has also been dressed.

The operation delighted the residents. The success is such that many knitters would like to perpetuate these activities with children from leisure centers. They could make pompoms which will be hung in the trees. ” A ten residents participated and really appreciated these moments of exchange”, concludes Fabienne Andrade Facilitator of the group of knitters from Saint-Georges de l'Isle.
