Monbouchet, municipal elected official and member of the board of directors of the Ehpad. “This allowed everyone to discuss in detail and in a concrete way how the system works, to know themselves better, to know how to act and orient themselves in the face of particular situations. It also helps to have a more attentive eye, to advise and know which partners to contact. »

The system has 136 delegates in Lot-et-Garonne, 125 municipalities have appointed elected representatives in their territory. In addition to mayors and elected officials, representatives of the municipal police, social workers in the gendarmerie, others from the Villeneuve medical-social center (CMS), specialized educators and members of associations took part in the meeting. “We emerged from these discussions with clear ideas about this system and others which are not necessarily very well known to everyone. We can talk about it to those around us, and try to provide the best support possible. We are also planning other similar meetings, in Sainte-Livrade or elsewhere,” promises André Forget.
