The Puy-de-Dôme firefighters received the alert this Sunday, November 3 at 1 p.m. They intervened in Saint-Germain-L'Herm, between Issoire and Ambert, on a traffic accident. A cyclist was hit by a car at the intersection of the D265 and the D300. According to firefighters, “Le cyclist, a man of 56 years old, was injured seriously. He is polytraumatized. He was airlifted by the SAMU helicopter to the Gabriel-Montpied University Hospital in Clermont-Ferrand.“.
An investigation has been opened. It is led by the gendarmerie brigade community of Saint-Germain-L'Herm. She will have to shed light on the exact circumstances of this accident. This accident comes a week after another event in Clermont-Ferrand: Sunday October 27, a cyclist 27 years old had been hit by a motorist who had fled. The latter was finally found.
