From this Monday, November 4, Samuel, a 42-year-old father, accused of having raped his child and having prostituted her in the Cévennes, appeared before the Gard criminal court. Three other people, including two women, are implicated in this sordid affair.
It was in 2020, after confinement that little Emma (the first name has been changed), a fragile child, then aged 12, confided in her mother. The child no longer wanted to go on vacation to his father and described violence, sexual assault and rape. The first violence, sexual assault and rape began when she was 8 years old, in 2014 and continued until 2020.
Samuel, his father would have encouraged him to drink alcohol and watch pornographic films, says the child. The attacks, violence and rapes were committed at the divorced father's home, during the holidays, in a small village in the Cévennes Gardoises, report the Drôme gendarmes who are taking the testimony of the little girl and the mother's complaint.
The investigation then progresses in Gard where Samuel, the divorced father, resides and is entrusted to the Vézénobres gendarmes in May 2021. The father denies then admits to having raped his daughter. Two other children, including the young victim's half-sister, describe violence and sexual abuse.
Accused of rape and sexual assault, Samuel, 42, appeared from this Monday, November 4 before the Gard criminal court and will be assisted by Me Khadija Aoudia. He is also accused of having sexually assaulted Emma's minor half-sister and this young boy aged under 15.
Facts of pimping contested
The affair is already sordid but then we descend into the abject. Samuel is also accused of having prostituted his daughter. Which he disputed. Friends of the accused including a couple allegedly solicited the father and paid him to have sex with the little girl and raped her. According to the little victim, around ten customers and “around fifteen women” would have participated in these sexual frolics and would have sexually abused her, in the father's apartment located in a small town north of Gard, in that of a couple friends of their father, in the woods or on the banks of the Vis.
“We make them pay for being too close to their father”
Luc, one of the friends, defended by Me Marc Roux and Elise, his partner (both first names have been changed) defended by Me Abdelghani Merah are accused of rape, sexual assault and pimping of the minor victim. They will also appear before the Gard criminal court. “We make them pay for being too close to their father, protests Me Abdelghani Merah, Elise's lawyer. More than 80% of the facts denounced are based solely on the statements of this fragile young girl. This is extremely serious. My client can't wait to be able to explain.”
The couple has always denied the serious accusations against them. As for the paternal grandmother who allegedly witnessed scenes of sexual violence and rape, she is being prosecuted for failure to report a crime. She will be defended by Me Sophie Bonnaud.
It is the attorney general, David Malicot who will bring the accusation. The debates are scheduled for five days. My Séverine Lamberton and Julie Gras will speak on behalf of the victim and her mother, civil parties. Two associations also filed a civil suit: Action Team Against Pimping, represented by Me Hugo Ferri, and Innocence in Danger, represented by Me Wafae Ezzaïtab.
