The police will increase their vigilance in the coming days in Mée-sur-Seine which was the scene of violent brawls between young people from Dammarie-les-Lys who came to fight with those from Mée two evenings in a row.
As of this Friday evening, around 8:45 p.m., around twenty young Dammarians arrived on Allée de la Gare au Mée and damaged cars parked in the area. Equipped with sticks, they fought with the Meens. One of the latter was injured in the hand. He was taken to hospital.

The mayor of Dammarie, Gilles Battail (LR) “obviously condemns all violence” and calls on the perpetrators to calm down. “For the moment, we have no other reason to consider any action other than police security.
