The young boy shot in the head during the shooting which took place on Thursday October 31 at Place de Coimbra in the Couronneries district, in Poitiers, did not survive his injuries and died this Saturday noon. At the end of the afternoon, Anis' family spoke through a text read by Yasmina Djoudi, lawyer for the victim's mother and family.
“Neither scum, nor a drug trafficker”
“Anis was a young boy of 15 who had been swimming for two years and who played football. He was educated in first grade at the Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle high school in Poitiers.Yasmina Djoudi learns The New Republic et Press Center.
She continues: “Contrary to certain allusions, he was neither a scumbag nor a drug trafficker. He had nothing to do with this drug trafficking. He is a collateral victim of a tragic tragedy. Anis was not part of any gang, except that of his friends with whom he had a meeting that evening to celebrate Halloween. »
In this text, the family's lawyer recalls that there were also many children with their parents at the restaurant. “Anis was not a young person who went out in the evening unduly. He just wanted to have a good time that evening. »
“Unworthy” amalgamations on the part of the authorities
Still speaking through a lawyer, the family deplores the confusions that have been made with the Rennes affair. “Amalgamations which are unacceptable and even unworthy of the authorities who made them”proclaimed Me Yasmina Djoudi.
She continues: “From these authorities, the family regrets the absence of words for this mother who lost her child. From these authorities, she also regrets the dissemination of false information at a time when Anis was between life and death and when the investigation was only in its early stages. »
Before finishing: “All our thoughts must go to this mother who calls for contemplation and who prays to those who might be tempted to do so, not to add to her pain by unfairly tarnishing the death of her son. »
