The Vosges and Haute- in musical harmony

Saturday October 26, The Friends of of Bologna (AMB) invited the harmony of Ramonchamp (Vosges), for a concert which took place in the evening, at the village hall.

The audience, made up of around sixty people, completely embraced the repertoire proposed, manifested by very warm applause at the end of each piece.

The AMB, under the direction of Evgueniya Verstiuk, began the concert with six works including a medley by Jean-Jacques Goldman and the best music from the “James Bond” film series.

After a break, under the direction of Richard Peduzzi, the harmony of Ramonchamp took over with seven pieces including, among others, songs by Michel Delpech, Michel Sardou.

Finally, as usual, because this is not the first time that the AMB have invited other musical groups, the instrumentalists from Vosges and Haute- ended the concert with three pieces, conducted successively by Evgueniya Verstiuk and Richard Peduzzi. The public was not at the end of its surprises. For decades, Philippe May, former director of the AMB, with his incomparable humor, asked two musicians from Ramonchamp to perform a totally hilarious sketch which brought out bursts of laughter.

The spectators left with smiles on their faces. “We are nevertheless disappointed by the small number of people who came for this wonderful concert. Fortunately, the spectators present had an excellent time,” commented one of the AMB instrumentalists.

The musical Ramoncenaise more than a hundred years old

Its repertoire is very diverse and it has a brass band which allows it to honor, in particular, patriotic parades. This Saturday, the Vosges musicians arrived around 3 p.m. and after a short rest period, they rehearsed with the AMB the three pieces that would close the concert.
