Ligue 1 – PSG wins against and widens the gap

This Saturday afternoon, PSG hosted – at the Parc des Princes – RC with the aim of widening the gap at the top of the standings. A mission accomplished by the Parisians.

The PSG should not miss this great opportunity. Leader of the championship, the capital club could benefit from the defeat of AS Monaco (0-1 against
) to take a six-point lead at the top of the standings. To do this, the Rouge & Bleu had to overcome the
RC Lensas part of the 10th day of Ligue 1. For this meeting, Luis Enrique had reserved a little surprise with the tenure of Matvey Safonov in the cages. For the rest,
Fabian Ruiz was lined up in midfield while Marco Asensio was used as a false number 9.

The match summary

In this seductive first act, the PSG quickly took the lead thanks to Ousmane Dembélé. On a high recovery of Fabian
Ruiz
, Bradley Barcola accelerated on his left side before serving at the far post to his French compatriot, who only had to push the ball into the back of the net (1-0, 4e). Well into the match, the Parisians multiplied the opportunities against harmless Lensois. However, as too often, players of
Luis Enrique rushed into the finish like the two shots from Fabian Ruiz pushed back by Brice Samba (15th, 30th), the same for
Marco Asensio (34th, 42nd). Good legs,
Ousmane Dembélé was close to a double after a nice sequence but his shot hit the post of the Lensois goalkeeper, beaten instantly (10th). For his part, Bradley
Barcola
was a real danger on his left wing but also harvested in the last gesture like his big missed opportunity in a face-to-face with Brice
Samba
(45+3). Opposite, the Lensois put the Parisians in very little danger, apart from a header Deiver Machadowell captured by Matvey Safonov
(31st). Attractive in the game, the PSG should nevertheless be more killer in front of the opposing cages.

In a less intense second period, the Parisians were in numerical superiority after a killer tackle fromAbdukodir Khusanov (59th). Despite this numerical superiority, the
PSG showed less intentions in the match and gave hope to Lensois who still relied on a few times on Brice Samba on strikes of
Bradley Barcola (72nd) and Nuno Mendes (77th). THE PSG finally provided the minimum service with a 1-0 success against the RC
Lens
and takes a six-point lead at the top of the standings before the match Champions League facing
l'Atlético de Madrid next Wednesday (November 6).
