Founded in 2021 in Les Herbiers by Pierre-Alexandre Coutand, Génération Bien Construire (GBC) won the “Coup de Cœur” Impact prize during the 2024 edition of Talents d’Avenir.

The second edition of Talents d'Avenir, organized at the national level by the Réseau Entreprendre, selected ninety-one promising companies, all supported by the network. Among them, five were distinguished as “Coup de Cœur” winners, including the Vendée-based Génération Bien Construire (GBC), rewarded for its environmental and social impact.

Since its creation, GBC has been recognized for its eco-responsible approach to modular construction, recycling polypropylene to produce bricks called Blockto+. Bricks, made from recycled plastic waste, reduce the ecological footprint of buildings while offering a sustainable alternative.
This “Coup de Cœur” Impact prize highlights the start-up's ability to stand out through its rapid growth, its innovative projects, including the creation of a production unit by 2027 and the commitment of its founder to develop a recycling network in partnership with local companies. With ten employees, GBC achieved a turnover of nearly €800,000 in 2023.
As a reminder, this national distinction, awarded by the Entreprendre Network, recognizes the most emblematic winners among the nearly one thousand seven hundred companies supported each year by the associations.
