Excess of vitesseconducted under narcotics and lack of permit to drive. THE infractions to the Highway Code have been numerous this Friday 1is November 2024.
In operation on the RN174at Saint-Lô, nine gendarmes from the Departmental Road Safety Squadron (EDSR) of La Manche control road users from 9 a.m. to noon.

In total, they noted 16 speeding violations, including two between 40 and 50 km/h resulting in a retention driving license as well as a immobilization of vehicle.
The Manche gendarmes observed driving under the influence of drugs. The person also had grass and resin.
Finally, a lack of driving license was noted on a two-wheeler.
This road safety operation, which took place in the presence of Stéphanie Petitjean, chief of staff of the prefect of Manche, aims to “fight against dangerous behavior by motorists on the RN174”.
