Friends of Titouan Caous, this young 22-year-old biker who died in an accident Tuesday evening in Annecy, avenue des Barattesare organizing a gathering in his memory this Sunday at 12 p.m., Place de l'Hôtel de Ville in Annecy. An engineer by profession, Titouan was also a volunteer firefighter and a member of the Savoyard Motorcycle group. “Bikers 73/74”which brings together nearly 14,000 enthusiasts.
“With a big heart and appreciated by all”
“Our friend was always ready to help others, with a big heart, a volunteer firefighter, he was very appreciated by everyone,” declare his relatives. “Far from his Breton family, but surrounded by his friends, we would like to pay him a last tribute.” Around thirty bikers have already been announced, but the gathering is open to all. Those who wish can bring flowers and Breton flags.
Titouan lived in Annecy-le-Vieux but was originally from Pléhédel, near Guingamp, in Côtes-d'Armor and proudly claimed its Breton roots. “He was a volunteer firefighter in Brittany and during his studies, he was to resume his volunteering this year, in Annecy”specifies a close friend. The young man's funeral will be celebrated on Friday November 8 at 10:30 a.m. in Pléhédel.
Motorcycle parade and minute of silence
A one-hour motorcycle ride, supervised by the police, is also announced. Titouan was driving a motorcycle, model KTM 790 Adventure. He was killed while trying to avoid a scooter that was using the pedestrian crossing. He veered to the left and hit the vehicle coming in the opposite direction. The driver of the scooter, a 31-year-old woman, was hospitalized in an absolute emergency in Annecy. The occupants of the car – a couple and their child – were not injured.
