Argenteuil
With its average of €3,228 per square meterArgenteuil is a town that is both financially accessible and close to the Paris metropolitan area. In fact, the commune of Argenteuil immediately hits Hauts-de-Seine, while displaying prices half as high. It also stands out as the fifth largest city in Île-de-France, with a dynamic population of approximately 110,387 inhabitantswhich demonstrates strong demand. Integrated into the urban unit of Paris, it is extremely well connected to the capital, notably by train. By rail, it is possible to reach Gare Saint-Lazare in a quarter of an hour.
Cergy
More in the center of the department, the town of Cergy has prices barely lower than those of Argenteuil, at a little more than 3 000 €/m². This is a commune which gained more than 50,000 inhabitants between 1980 and 2021. Although further from Paris than other major towns in Val-d'Oise, the Cergy-Pontoise agglomeration is served by the A 15 motorway as well as an RER A train. Cergy thus represents a compromise between the more rural western part and the more urban eastern part. She also welcomes ESSEC, a prestigious business school, but also the University of Cergy-Pontoise.
Enghien-les-Bains
To the south of the department, touching Seine-Saint-Denis, Enghien-les-Bains is a spa resort of unique interest in Île-de-France. Consequently, given its exceptional living environment, its prices are the highest in Val-d'Oise, at 5 279 €/m². Famous for its casino and its lake, it also has many beautiful villas and stands out as a highly tourist destination in the Paris attraction area.
