An unsatisfactory offer for retirees at the Éperlecques blockhouse

By TV

The Éperlecques blockhouse also experienced the privileged rate from 1is September to October 31. It was aimed at retirees and was valid from Monday to Friday. To benefit from it, all you had to do was present a photo of the offer, available on the site and on social networks, at reception.

However, the offer did not have the hoped-for effect: “ It didn't work because I think people don't necessarily go to the site, nor to Facebook, and especially retirees don't necessarily know how to take a screenshot. », Regrets Hubert de Mégille, the owner of the site classified as a historic monument. “ I asked for instructions to be provided but people still had to come across them. » Added to this is a season reflecting the success of this advantageous price, in other words not great: “ We suffered the Olympic Games which hit the tourists' wallets. »

A mixed finale therefore for Hubert de Mégille who has decided to part with the blockhouse and intends to find a buyer for the opening of the 2025 season. “ For the moment, it is under discussion », he concludes.
