It was a difficult time. During the summer of 2022, between the months of April and of september, the drought hit the part of Haute-Savoie where the village of Vulbens was located, causing “consecutive differential land movements”.
The prefecture of Savoy therefore decided to recognize “the state of natural disaster by interministerial decree.

But what is this recognition for? It's all a question of insurance: “The people of this municipality affected by this event are invited to declare the damage suffered to their insurance company as quickly as possible, if this has not already been done,” explains the prefecture.
“The maximum deadline for this declaration is set at thirty days from the publication of the interministerial decreei.e. until November 19 inclusive,” adds the institution.
