The 6th edition of the “Suspense en Seine-et-” competition is launched

A passion for literature? A vivid imagination? On the occasion of the 6e edition of the “Suspense en Seine-et-” competition, Seine-et-Marne middle school students can give free rein to their talents as authors and send their short story before January 15 on the website of the Seine-et-Marne departmental media library.

This year, the jury, chaired by Jean-Christophe Tixierauthor of detective novels, will designate eight winners (two per class). The lucky winners will leave with numerous prizes, including a digital tablet and a book.

Individual or pair participation

On October 11, Beaumarchais college in hosted the opening ceremony in the presence of Véronique Veaux, vice-president in charge of culture and heritage, and Jean-Christophe Tixier. As president and sponsor of the competition, he designed the new rules with the students.

The territory and heritage are in the spotlight during this 6e edition. Please note that candidates can participate alone or in pairs provided that they compete in the same category. Finally, another new feature of this edition: the short stories can be illustrated, but this criterion will not be evaluated by the members of the jury.
