Dn the program of the Engagés for the regional elections, we could read this commitment to “evaluate the impact in terms of modal transfer of the preferential TEC rate (12 euros per year) for 18-24 year olds and, if the evaluation is positive, extend it to 12-26 year olds.” The latest declarations on Bel-RTL by the Minister of Mobility, François Desquesnes (Les Engagés), seem to move the horizon further: it is rather an abandonment of quasi-free service that is now in question.
