Capital Group Canada simplifies the fees of its mutual funds

The new administration fees for series A, A ($US) and T4 will be 0.04% for:

  • the Capital Group American Equity Fund (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Fund targeted at Canadian equities (Canada).

The new administration fee for Series A, A ($US) and T4 will be 0.05% for:

  • the Capital Group Global Equity Fund (Canada);
  • the Capital Group Global Balanced Fund (Canada);
  • the Capital Group monthly income portfolio (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Canadian Essential Plus Fixed Income Fund (Canada).

The new administration fee for Series A, A ($US) and T4 will be 0.06% for:

  • the Capital Group International Equity Fund (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Global Bond Fund (Canada).

The new administration fee for Series A, A ($US) and T4 will be 0.07% for:

  • the Capital Group Income Generating Fund (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Multi-Sector Income Fund (Canada).

And the new administration fee for Series A, A ($US) and T4 will be 0.08% for the Capital Group Total Opportunities Emerging Markets Fund (Canada).

F, F (US$) and F4 Series

The new administration fees for series F, F ($US) and F4 will be 0.04% for:

  • the Capital Group American Equity Fund (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Fund targeted at Canadian equities (Canada).

The new administration fee for series F, F (US$) and F4 will be 0.05% for:

  • the Capital Group Global Equity Fund (Canada);
  • the Capital Group Global Balanced Fund (Canada);
  • the Capital Group monthly income portfolio (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Canadian Essential Plus Fixed Income Fund (Canada).

The new administration fee for series F, F (US$) and F4 will be 0.06% for:

  • the Capital Group International Equity Fund (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Global Bond Fund (Canada).

The new administration fee for series F, F (US$) and F4 will be 0.07% for:

  • the Capital Group Income Generating Fund (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Multi-Sector Income Fund (Canada).

And the new administration fee for series F, F (US$) and F4 will be 0.08% for the Capital Group Total Opportunities Emerging Markets Fund (Canada).

D Series

The new administration fees for Series D will therefore be 0.04% for:

  • the Capital Group American Equity Fund (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Fund targeted at Canadian equities (Canada).

The new administration fee will be 0.05% for the Capital Group Global Equity Fund, 0.06% for the Capital Group International Equity Fund and 0.08% for the Capital Group Total Opportunities Emerging Markets Fund.

Series I

The new administration fee for Series I will be 0.03% for the Capital Group American Equity Fund.

The new administration fee for Series I will be 0.04% for:

  • the Capital Group American Equity Fund (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Fund targeted at Canadian equities (Canada).

The new administration fee for Series I will be 0.05% for:

  • the Capital Group International Equity Fund (Canada);
  • the Capital Group monthly income portfolio (Canada);
  • the Capital Group Global Balanced Fund (Canada);
  • Capital Group Essential Plus Canadian Fixed Income Fund (Canada);
  • the Capital Group Global Bond Fund (Canada);
  • and the Capital Group Multi-Sector Income Fund (Canada).

And the new administration fee for Series I will be 0.06% for the Capital Group Total Opportunities Emerging Markets Fund (Canada).

Series covered

The administration fee for Income Generating Capital Group (Canada) Series AH and FH will increase to 0.12%.

The administration fee for the Capital Group Global Bond Fund (Canada) of Series AH and FH will increase to 0.11% and that of Series IH will increase to 0.10%.

In addition to the changes to the fixed rate administration fee, the management fees for the Monthly Income Portfolio will also be reduced effective 1er June 2024.

Those of series A and T4 will increase to 1.60% for the first 5 billion dollars (G$), 1.57% from 5 B$ to 10 B$ and 1.55% for more than 10 B$. Those of series F and F4 will increase to 0.60% for the first $5 billion, 0.57% from $5 billion to $10 billion and 0.55% for more than $10 billion.
