It was by reading our article of April 20, 2022 that Romuald Bouvty stood as a candidate for the restaurant project in Frépillon (Val-d'Oise).
This passionate restaurateur, aged 51, was selected to carry out this project with the City.
Opening in December
In December 2024, the establishment, named At Romuald’swill open on the roundabout, at the entrance to the Épineaux Business Park.
“I will offer quality, generous cuisine, sharing, with traditional recipes and specialties. I also opted for professional inclusion, with a Handi-Restoration line (recruitment of disabled people, editor’s note)“, explains Romuald Bouvty.
Traditional cuisine
The restaurant will offer an original menu. It will have a maturation chamber for meat and fish. Sorbets, ice creams and pastries will be homemade.
The ground floor room will accommodate fifty seats, including a “table d'hôte” area for around ten people. The room on the first floor, with a capacity of thirty-six people, can be privatized for seminars.
In fine weather, a terrace will welcome customers. A parking lot with twenty-two spaces will also be built.
“With the creation of a restaurant, the municipality is ensuring that it strengthens commercial activity,” explains Bernard Tailly, deputy mayor of Frépillon in charge of the file and former councilor (Se). A study confirmed the interest of this project at the entrance to the Épineaux Business Park, which will ultimately have more than fifty companies and two thousand jobs. The municipality owns the walls and will sign a commercial lease with the restaurateur. »
While waiting to light the stoves and place orders, Romuald Bouvty is refining his team of divers, waiters and cooks and continuing his recruitment.
