Charles Leclerc, Beauty will save the world…

Charles Leclerc, a… fighter pilot

This week, in the teaser of a documentary, the town of Saint-Dizier was associated with an international personality. Formula 1 driver of Scuderia Ferrari, Charles Leclerc went to the north of Haut-, more precisely to Air Base 113. More than a courtesy visit, it was for the Monegasque driver to take part in a unique experience aboard a Rafale. An idea from Julien Fébreau, journalist for the encrypted channel Canal+, with the approval of the Air and Space Force. Enough to lead to a long format documentary entitled “Charles Leclerc: Supersonique”, broadcast on November 3, which will retrace this adventure. If on board a single-seater, the pilot can reach crazy speeds (the historic racing record is 372.6 km/h), it's something else in a Rafale; the fighter jet can fly up to 1,912 km/h. We can imagine the difference in sensations.

Will beauty save other French cities?

Several national media outlets such as Radio and Huffington Post are reporting on “West France news”, previously published in JHM daily following the municipal council on October 17, on the subject of the “Beauty will save the world” operation. From mid-November, a new burst of municipalities – 23 –, whose scale varies between 1,000 and 100,000 inhabitants, will take up the Bragard concept launched in 2021, in the space of a few weeks. As a reminder, the principle is simple: we replace advertising panels with artistic works, to introduce them to residents who potentially do not have a museum nearby. Châteauroux, , and Saint-Raphaël are part of this “new promotion”.
