Julien Marchand does not appear in the group announced by Fabien Galthié. According to initial information, the hooker was spared by his club this week. He suffers from slight muscle pain. But, good news for the Tricolores staff, he should be back in the Blues group to prepare for the match against the All Blacks.
To replace him, at least during the match against Japan, therefore, the coaches of the France team called on Bordelais Maxime Lamothe, who could experience his first selection, and Castres Gaëtan Barlot, who will compete for the second place in the hierarchy. Peato Mauvaka seems unstoppable in the absence of his Stade Toulouse teammate.
