From Pays d’Auge to Pré-Bocage

Originally from Bessinhe was previously parish priest of Pont-l'Évêque. During a warm and moving mass, Father Hugues Hérout expressed his gratitude for this new missionand emphasized his engagement to serve the community with humility and dedication, having “come to serve and not to be served”.

My wish is to serve our Lord by listening to your needs, your joys and your sorrows. Together, we will continue to build a lively and fraternal parish, where everyone can feel welcomed and loved. I always keep this motto in mind: 'we are always more intelligent in groups than alone, whatever our pride says'. Yes, it is together that we will bring this new parish to life. May our fraternal communion grow and be a beautiful testimony for our world. Let us proclaim together the joy that Christ brings, this will be the best way to serve the man of our time.
